ในบรรดาของคุณลักษณะต่างๆที่ต้องมีอยู่ในสินค้า/บริการ คุณภาพ (Quality) คือหัวใจสำคัญสูงสุดซึ่งต้องมีอยู่ในสินค้า/บริการที่จะสร้างความพอใจหรือสนองความต้องการของลูกค้า. ปัจจุบันบริษัททั้งหลายไม่มีทางเลือกอื่นอีกแล้ว นอกจากการประยุกต์ใช้วิธีบริหารคุณภาพแบบองค์รวม (Total Quality Management Program: TQM) ถ้ายังต้องการอยู่ในธุรกิจและมีกำ ไรอยู่ได้
คุณภาพโดยรวม ถือเป็นหัวใจสำ คัญในการสร้างคุณค่าต่างๆให้ลูกค้า และสร้างความพอใจสูงสุดให้ลูกค้า
